Green Technology Leads; Cold-Rolling Process Attracts Buyers

"This 50S 100% cotton-spandex double-faced fabric is soft and comfortable, while saving 60% water in dyeing," Yu Guobin, Jinlin Knitting's Foreign Trade Manager, told an Italian buyer during a demo of cold-rolled dyed fabrics' moisture-wicking performance. Over 70% of exhibits held environmental certifications, covering core lines like cotton-spandex interlock and polyester-cotton blends-all integrated with the company's self-developed eco-friendly dyeing and intelligent finishing technologies.

Notably, its new liquid ammonia mercerized fabrics-processed with imported equipment-meet international luxury brand standards for luster and elasticity, and hold GRS and OCS certifications. On-site, preliminary cooperation was agreed with 3 European apparel brands. "Our intelligent printing and dyeing base enables full-process digital control from weaving to finishing, with traceable environmental indicators for every batch," Yu said, presenting real-time quality data that prompted a Turkish buyer to confirm a 200-ton test order.

Customized Services & Industrial Synergy Boost Results

To meet diverse buyer needs, Jinlin Knitting set up a "Rapid Customization Zone" at its booth, offering one-stop solutions like color card selection and process adjustments. Functional fabrics accounted for 45% of customized demands, with moisture-wicking sportswear and antibacterial fabrics as top choices.

"Our flexible production-samples in 3 days, delivery in 7 days-gives us an edge in small-to-medium batch orders," Yu noted. Through the Canton Fair's "Trade Bridge" matching program, the company partnered with plush industry clusters and Shaoxing home textile firms to provide integrated "fabric + finished garment" services. This collaboration attracted a Russian buyer's intentional order for 3,000 knitted suits, valued at over $800,000.

Jinlin Knitting's new 170,000-square-meter production base will launch next year, with an annual capacity of 50,000 tons of high-end knitted products to support Canton Fair order fulfillment. "We aim to convert 60% of intentional orders into first-quarter actual orders. We will also leverage the Canton Fair Design Innovation Award to accelerate international certification for functional fabrics," a company representative said. Moving forward, Jinlin Knitting will continue using the Canton Fair as a key platform to promote green and intelligent knitted products globally.
