Indications

 

An aminoglycoside antibiotic for the treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory tract infections caused by susceptible Gram-negative bacteria (e.g., Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pasteurella, Salmonella spp.) in various animals.

 

Dosage and Administration

 

- Cattle, Sheep, Goats: 2-1 mg per kg body weight by intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection once daily.
- Swine: 5 mg per kg body weight by intramuscular (IM) injection once daily.
- Horses: 6.8 mg per kg body weight by intravenous (IV) injection every 24 hours.
- Dogs and Cats: 4-6 mg per kg body weight by intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SC) injection every 24 hours.
- Poultry: 5-10 mg per kg body weight by intramuscular (IM) injection or via drinking water, depending on the condition and veterinarian's guidance.

 

Contraindications: Do not use in animals with a known hypersensitivity to gentamicin.

 

Precautions

 

- Use with caution in animals with impaired renal or hepatic function.
- Follow dosage instructions carefully. Overdosing can lead to serious side effects.

 

Withdrawal Period

 

- Meat: Cattle, Sheep, Swine: 40 days. Poultry: 7 days.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place (20~25 °C), protected from light. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
